Eligibility Criteria of Swami Vivekananda Scholarship
It’s important to note that there are some common eligibility criteria for students. One of them is permanent residence from West Bengal state. Another is the annual family income of the student should not exceed 2.5 lakh rupees.
Then there is a criteria for minimum percentage required –

Selection Process for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship
To begin with, the department will also sort the online applications. Based on the scholarship rules. Therefore, applications are sorted based on marks first.
Next, based on household income of students. After this, the merit list will be generated by the department. In addition, documents were verified to make the merit list. The same documentation you submit at the time of registration.

Procedure to Apply for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship
- To apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, students first go to the official website (svmcm.wbhed.gov.in).
- Then on the homepage, a link to the registration form is available for students.
- Once you click on the registration link, a new page opens.
- Click on proceed for registration, the registration form will appear.
- Enter the Mobile Number and Email Address.
- An applicant ID consisting of characters amounting to 15 digits gets generated for the candidate after registration.
- Use the generated Applicant ID and Password to log in. Enter the Captcha Code. Complete the rest of the application forms.
- Upload scanned copies of the Image and Signature in the following formats: Image & Signature Format- JPEG/JPEG Size of Image & Signature – 10KB-20KB
- Once you finish uploading, click on submit to finish your application.
