The Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore unveiled the information brochure for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) on August 26th. Aspiring candidates aiming for admission into master’s programs at IITs, NITs, and IIITs can now access and download the GATE 2024 information brochure directly from the official GATE website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
For the GATE 2024 examination, candidates in the general category will be required to submit an application fee of Rs 1,800, while candidates belonging to the SC, ST, PwD, and female categories will have a reduced fee of Rs 900. It’s important to note that candidates applying for two papers will need to pay twice the fee compared to a single paper.

Mark your calendars as the exam is scheduled to take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. Notably, GATE 2024 introduces a new test paper focused on data science and artificial intelligence (DA). There is no specified age limit for GATE 2024 aspirants, and the examination will be conducted at multiple centers in over 200 cities and towns across India.
Furthermore, the GATE 2024 scorecard will remain valid for a duration of three years from the date of result announcement. Additionally, individuals holding BDS, BVSc, and BSc degrees in agriculture, horticulture, and forestry are eligible to appear for the GATE 2024 exam.
Candidates will have the opportunity to download their GATE 2024 scorecards without any additional cost between March 23 and May 31. After this period, from June 1 to December 31, a fee of Rs 500 per test paper will be applicable for downloading GATE 2024 scorecards.
