Engineering is one of the most popular majors for students around the world. Almost 107,000 candidates choose to participate in India’s Engineering Entrance Exam every year to enroll in engineering colleges. India’s engineers are quite competitive, and many aspire to land a job in an engineering company. 1. JEE Main:

JEE Mains has been a popular engineering entrance exam in India. It is an examination in which over 12 lakh students take years to gain access to the country’s better and more prestigious IITs. They will be conducting two exams in April and another in May by the National Testing Agency. The exam dates of JEE Main 2022 have already been announced. The JEE Mains 2022 has been postponed till June for students’ demand. The exam is an entrance for admission to various engineering schools. JEE Main also serves as the qualifying exam for IITs in the country. The dates for JEE Advanced 2022 have not been announced yet.

2. BITSAT:

BITS (Birla Institute of Technology and Science) is responsible for conducting its undergraduate admissions exam. This is an online admission test and will be available to all students who pass the eligibility criteria. BITSAT is considered one of the most prestigious engineering exams in India. There’s a lot of competition for this entrance exam, enough to take almost 2 lakh people every year. It’s incredibly lucrative, so people are always willing to make their way to your city for the exam. We have 3 hours of online examination with 4 sections. The BITSAT questions are categorised into 4 parts, including Physical Sciences, English Proficiency section, Chemistry, and Maths. There are 2,000 vacancies to take this exam.

3. VITEEE:

The VIT Exam (VIT Engineering Entrance Exam) offers undergraduate admission in engineering to eligible students. The VITJEE comes in the top 5 engineering exams in India. There are around 5000 seats available, and almost 2 lakh candidates appear for it. The examination is conducted in online mode only and lasts for 2 hours. The students will need to answer 125 questions from mathematics, physics, chemistry, english sections and aptitude.

This is an extraordinarily challenging and mentally taxing test.

4. KIITEE 2022:

The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology conducts an exam for potential students to attend as 4-year B.Tech students, and the test is held annually. KIITEE has 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It is a certified course conducted online—the examination centres where rank holders are likely to appear for KIITEE admission. There are around 60 exam centres available in the country, and candidates can apply to only one centre.

5. SRMJEEE 2022:

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology is responsible for conducting the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) for all candidates, who can also take it online. Those taking the test live or online compete for around 7,000 UG seats available at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Every year, almost 1 lakh candidates sit for the exam. They must pass the exam to get admission. The top 1000 Rank holders in IIT JEE can avail of direct admission.
